Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by organizing tools and materials.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met.
- Operate handheld electrical testing meters and diagnostic tools.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude towards safety.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work at heights when necessary.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
