Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings under supervision
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for project execution
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (wiring, conduit, circuit breakers)
- Adhere to strict NEC codes, OSHA standards, and company safety protocols
- Assist troubleshooting electrical issues using diagnostic equipment
- Prepare work areas, manage materials inventory, and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in apprenticeship programs to advance toward journeyman status
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school graduates preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical principles or willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
