Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Install wiring, conduits, and electrical components using hand and power tools.
- Identify electrical problems using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be willing to obtain necessary electrical licensing and certifications.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Basic math skills are required for measurements and calculations.
