Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
- Assist with pipe fitting, fixture installation, and drain cleaning
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand plumbing layouts
- Perform diagnostic testing to identify leaks and system malfunctions
- Follow safety protocols and EPA regulations for waste disposal
- Maintain clean job sites and professional customer interactions
- Complete detailed service reports and inventory management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Basic hand tool proficiency (wrenches, pipe cutters, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain DC plumbing license within 12 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites across DC metro area
- Background check and drug screen required
