Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with pipe fitting, fixture installation, and system repairs
- Perform routine inspections to identify plumbing issues and preventive maintenance needs
- Use specialized tools (drain snakes, pipe cutters, pressure testers) safely and effectively
- Follow local plumbing codes, safety protocols, and company standards
- Complete detailed service reports and maintain organized job documentation
- Participate in emergency callouts during evenings and weekends as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool-handling skills
- Willingness to obtain Florida plumbing certification within 12 months
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Jacksonville
