Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read blueprints and schematics to determine pipe layouts and fixture placements
- Use diagnostic tools to identify leaks, clogs, and system inefficiencies
- Ensure all work complies with California plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Perform preventative maintenance on water heaters, sump pumps, and drainage systems
- Provide excellent customer service and educate clients on plumbing best practices
- Collaborate with senior plumbers to troubleshoot complex issues
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and properly maintain tools/equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic knowledge of plumbing tools and materials (pipes, fittings, valves)
- Ability to read technical documents and blueprints
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to complete paid apprenticeship program (if inexperienced)
- Pass background check and drug screening
