Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations
- Learn diagnostic techniques for pipe systems, fixtures, and water heaters
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks under supervision
- Adhere to safety protocols and plumbing codes (IPC/IUPC)
- Operate hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment safely
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication
- Maintain clean work sites and organized service vehicles
- Complete apprenticeship training modules as scheduled
Qualifications
- No plumbing experience required - training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to obtain Indiana plumbing certification within 12 months
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Detail-oriented with commitment to quality workmanship
- Pass background check and drug screening
