Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and residential properties.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems and faults efficiently.
- Maintain accurate job logs and safety documentation for every project.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers and other tradespeople.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of New York.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in the electrical trade.
- Skills: Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical theory and circuitry.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
