Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers in diagnosing and repairing residential/commercial plumbing systems
- Install pipes, fixtures, appliances, and water treatment systems per code requirements
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative inspections on plumbing infrastructure
- Operate power tools, diagnostic equipment, and trenching machinery safely
- Document service reports, material usage, and project specifications
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and local building codes
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with clients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, and blueprints
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to obtain Illinois plumbing license within 12 months
