Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Perform routine inspections to identify leaks, clogs, and pipe deterioration
- Operate hand/power tools safely including pipe cutters, wrenches, and drain snakes
- Follow local plumbing codes and safety protocols during all operations
- Document service reports and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in emergency call rotations for after-hours repairs
- Complete apprenticeship training modules to gain certification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Columbus
- Willingness to obtain Ohio plumbing apprentice certification
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
