Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems (pipes, fixtures, water heaters)
- Diagnose plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools and inspection methods
- Perform preventative maintenance to prevent future plumbing failures
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and building codes at all times
- Assist senior plumbers with complex projects and emergency calls
- Document service reports and maintain accurate inventory of tools/materials
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with clients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic plumbing knowledge or trade school certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship
- Willingness to obtain Illinois plumbing license within 6 months
- Team player with excellent communication skills
