Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with pipefitting, fixture installation, and drain cleaning
- Perform basic plumbing system inspections and maintenance tasks
- Use hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Follow building codes and safety protocols at job sites
- Transport equipment and materials to/from job locations
- Document work progress and maintain clean work areas
- Participate in ongoing skills development and certification programs
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across the region
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprentice training
- Background check and drug screening required
