Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Assess plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and provide accurate repair solutions
- Follow local building codes and safety protocols for all installations
- Collaborate with senior plumbers to troubleshoot complex drainage and sewer problems
- Maintain clean worksites and properly use power tools, pipe cutters, and threading machines
- Document service reports and maintain inventory of plumbing materials
- Participate in ongoing skills training for emerging plumbing technologies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, and installation techniques
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain Journeyman Plumber license within 18 months
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
