Responsibilities
- Assist master plumbers with residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Perform pipefitting, fixture repairs, and drain clearing under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure all work complies with California plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Conduct preliminary diagnostic evaluations and report findings
- Maintain clean job sites and organize tools/materials efficiently
- Participate in emergency call-out rotations (weekends/holidays)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of plumbing tools and materials
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain plumbing certification within 12 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites across SF Bay Area
- Pass background check and drug screening
