Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers in residential and commercial plumbing installations and repairs
- Perform pipefitting, drain cleaning, and fixture maintenance under supervision
- Operate diagnostic tools and plumbing equipment safely
- Follow blueprints and building codes for all plumbing systems
- Maintain clean job sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Document work orders and inventory materials accurately
- Participate in ongoing technical training programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic hand tool proficiency (wrenches, saws, etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Boston
- Willingness to obtain Massachusetts plumbing license within 2 years
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
