Responsibilities
- Assist master plumbers with pipe fitting, drain cleaning, and fixture installations
- Perform basic plumbing repairs under supervision (faucets, toilets, water heaters)
- Operate plumbing tools and equipment safely
- Follow building codes and safety protocols
- Load/unload service vehicles and maintain organized workspaces
- Learn diagnostic techniques for plumbing system issues
- Provide excellent customer service during on-site repairs
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprentice training
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Houston
- Drug-free workplace compliance required
