Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems
- Perform diagnostic tests on water lines, drainage, and gas pipes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Install and repair fixtures including sinks, toilets, water heaters, and pumps
- Ensure all work complies with California plumbing codes and safety standards
- Prepare work sites, clean up after completion, and maintain organized tool inventory
- Document work orders, materials used, and project progress
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- Basic hand tool proficiency and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to pursue state plumbing certification (paid training provided)
- Reliable transportation to various job sites throughout San Francisco
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
