Responsibilities
- Assist master plumbers in diagnosing and repairing residential/commercial plumbing systems
- Install pipes, fixtures, and water treatment systems per blueprints and codes
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC and plumbing infrastructure
- Document service reports and maintain inventory of tools/materials
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and California plumbing regulations
- Participate in emergency call-out rotations after training period
- Complete state-mandated apprenticeship coursework
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency (pipe wrenches, cutters, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain California Plumber's License within 18 months
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
