Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Operate hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment safely
- Perform pipefitting, fixture installation, and pipe soldering
- Conduct inspections and troubleshooting for leaks/blocks
- Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and building codes
- Assist senior plumbers on emergency service calls
- Complete job documentation and inventory management
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to earn EPA 608 certification within 6 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites across DC/VA
- Drug-free and background check required
