Responsibilities
- Assist in residential and commercial plumbing installations and repairs
- Learn pipefitting techniques for water, gas, and drainage systems
- Perform diagnostic plumbing troubleshooting under supervision
- Operate and maintain plumbing tools and equipment safely
- Adhere to building codes, safety protocols, and industry standards
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and practical training modules
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Commitment to completing 4-year apprenticeship program
- Willingness to obtain plumbing certification within 18 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Fort Worth area
