Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers in residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues using industry-standard tools and techniques
- Perform pipe fitting, fixture repairs, and drain cleaning under supervision
- Adhere to safety protocols and building codes on all job sites
- Maintain clean workspaces and proper tool inventory
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and certification requirements
- Participate in on-call emergency rotation after training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic hand tool knowledge preferred but not mandatory
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain Indiana plumbing certification within 6 months
- Background check and drug screen required
- Must be punctual and safety-conscious
