Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Learn to identify and use various hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment.
- Prepare job sites by gathering materials, digging trenches, and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Follow all local and state plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or certifications required; willingness to learn is the only requirement.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (preferred).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and tight spaces.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
