Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe using hand and power tools.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Learn and adhere to all local and state plumbing codes and regulations.
- Respond to service calls and communicate effectively with customers.
- Perform basic pipe fitting and fixture installation tasks.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and working in tight spaces.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Strong willingness to learn and a commitment to safety.
