Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial piping systems.
- Locate and diagnose plumbing issues using hand tools, power tools, and electronic detection equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including clearing clogs, checking water heaters, and inspecting drainage lines.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and organized after every job site visit.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical diagrams under supervision.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about job progress and costs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight, confined spaces.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergency call-outs.
- Strong desire to learn and advance within the plumbing trade.
