Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Plumbers: Shadow and support journeyman plumbers on residential and commercial job sites.
- Tool Maintenance: Learn to properly use, clean, and maintain plumbing tools and equipment.
- Material Handling: Transport, unload, and organize pipe materials and supplies at job sites.
- Site Cleanup: Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and comply with OSHA regulations.
- Learning Opportunities: Study blueprints, learn local plumbing codes, and understand water systems.
- Customer Interaction: Assist in communicating with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- License: Valid driver's license is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual with a strong attendance record and a willingness to work overtime.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills are essential.
