Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Technicians: Shadow and assist journeyman plumbers with residential and commercial installation and repair projects.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all job sites.
- Basic Repairs: Perform routine tasks such as unclogging drains, fixing leaky faucets, and repairing minor pipe issues under supervision.
- Tool Operation: Learn to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and pipe-bending machinery.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Blueprint Reading: Begin learning to interpret basic plumbing blueprints and schematics.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience: No prior plumbing experience is required. We are looking for candidates willing to learn.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods. Good physical stamina is essential.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a desire to advance in the trade.
