Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Prepare work areas by laying out necessary materials and clearing debris.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and fitting under supervision.
- Learn and adhere to all local Philadelphia building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for the team.
- Interact professionally with customers to explain job progress and answer questions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- No prior plumbing experience is required; we provide the training.
