Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and joining using various methods (soldering, gluing).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and answer questions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and working in tight spaces.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- A strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude toward safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
