Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Diagnosis: Troubleshoot and diagnose complex plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and drainage problems.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Tools: Use hand and power tools, including pipe cutters, wrenches, and soldering torches, to complete projects.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local and state building codes and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, explain repairs, and provide transparent quotes.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe during and after job completion.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior plumbing experience necessary. We are looking for eager, trainable candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
