Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, and material handling using hand/power tools
- Perform demolition, debris removal, and general cleanup operations
- Operate equipment like jackhammers, saws, and compactors under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute tasks accurately
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople on concrete, framing, and finishing tasks
- Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, drills, levels)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours with minimal breaks
