Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Transport materials and tools to job sites and unload equipment safely.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and fitting under supervision.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and job progress.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national plumbing codes.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn a trade and enter the construction industry.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
