Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Perform basic pipe fitting, cutting, and threading tasks under direct supervision.
- Locate and clear drain blockages using handheld augers and cameras.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain job progress and answer questions.
- Learn to interpret blueprints and technical schematics.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required; apprenticeship training provided.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces, attics, or outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills quickly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Willingness to obtain necessary state certifications as you advance in your career.
