What You'll Do
As an Entry Level Plumber Apprentice, your primary focus will be learning the fundamentals of residential and commercial plumbing while assisting our senior technicians.
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers: Support senior technicians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Learn Pipefitting: Gain hands-on experience with copper, PVC, and PEX piping, as well as various fixtures and water heaters.
- Read Blueprints: Begin training to interpret technical drawings and understand layout plans.
- Maintain Tools: Properly clean, organize, and maintain plumbing tools and equipment.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally, answer basic questions, and ensure job sites are left clean.
- Adhere to Safety: Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in tight spaces or at heights.
- License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, problem-solving mindset, and reliability are essential.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
