What You Will Do:
As an entry-level plumber, you will assist our certified master plumbers with various residential and commercial projects. This is a hands-on role where you will learn the ins and outs of pipefitting, fixture installation, and repair.
Responsibilities
- Assist master plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems and plumbing fixtures.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and code specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Use hand and power tools (wrenches, pipe cutters, soldering equipment) safely and effectively.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to diagnose leaks and clogs under supervision.
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Prepare materials and tools for daily job assignments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- No prior experience is necessary; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read measurements accurately.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn a skilled trade.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
