Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Perform basic tasks such as pipe cutting, threading, and fitting under supervision.
- Transport materials and tools to and from job sites efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and providing updates on service progress.
- Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
- Practice proper waste disposal and recycling procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn a skilled trade and a commitment to craftsmanship.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for travel to job sites).
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.
- Reliable transportation to the shop and job sites.
