Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems and fixtures.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify leaks, clogs, or potential issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of pipes and other systems.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including pipe cutters, threaders, and wrenches, safely and effectively.
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and answer questions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to obtain required state licenses and certifications.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn a trade.
