Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems and fixtures.
- Perform basic plumbing tasks such as unclogging drains, fixing minor leaks, and replacing water heaters.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Inspect worksites for safety hazards and ensure compliance with local building codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including job sites and company service vans.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical schematics.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues and solutions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Basic math skills and ability to read measurements accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Willingness to work in tight spaces, crawl spaces, and various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and obtain a Journeyman license.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
