Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers: Support senior technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Tool & Material Management: Transport, organize, and prepare tools and materials for daily job sites.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas, including digging trenches, laying pipe, and ensuring safety compliance.
- Basic Installation: Install pipes, fixtures, and appliances under the supervision of licensed professionals.
- System Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance tasks to ensure system functionality.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to all OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but prior trade experience is not mandatory.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to master the craft and follow instructions carefully.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic measurements and calculations is a plus.
