Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Assist in the installation and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read Blueprints: Learn to interpret basic plumbing blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Tool Usage: Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including pipe wrenches, soldering torches, and drain snakes, under supervision.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose common plumbing issues, such as leaks and clogs, and assist in implementing effective solutions.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure system integrity and prevent future failures.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We provide full training for entry-level candidates.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects, working in tight spaces, and standing for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions from senior technicians.
- License: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Philadelphia and Virginia regions.
