Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Perform pipe fitting, drain clearing, and fixture repairs under supervision
- Conduct residential and commercial plumbing inspections
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards at all job sites
- Document work orders and maintain inventory of tools and materials
- Participate in paid apprenticeship training programs
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic hand tool knowledge preferred
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to obtain Michigan plumbing certification within 6 months
- Background check and drug screen required
