Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with pipe installation, fixture repairs, and system maintenance
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and blueprints
- Safely operate hand/power tools and equipment under supervision
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and local building codes
- Maintain clean job sites and professional client interactions
- Complete apprenticeship modules and skills assessments
- Participate in emergency call rotations as skills advance
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- Willingness to obtain Ohio plumbing license within 12 months
- Background check and drug screen required
