Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations
- Perform basic pipefitting, fixture repairs, and drain cleaning under supervision
- Learn to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on water heaters and filtration systems
- Use hand/power tools safely and maintain organized workspaces
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and local plumbing codes
- Provide excellent customer service during service calls
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship program
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Oklahoma City
- Pass background check and drug screening
- No prior plumbing experience necessary
