Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers in installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Perform basic pipefitting, fixture assembly, and pipe cutting/joining tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Diagnose simple plumbing issues using diagnostic tools
- Complete hands-on training modules to develop technical skills
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients
- Use plumbing tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior plumbing experience necessary
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship program
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across San Antonio
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
