Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with pipe fitting, fixture installation, and system repairs
- Perform drain cleaning, hydro-jetting, and basic troubleshooting under supervision
- Learn and adhere to safety protocols, building codes, and EPA regulations
- Prepare job sites, organize tools/materials, and maintain clean work areas
- Document service reports and maintain inventory of parts/tools
- Participate in emergency call-outs and weekend/holiday rotations
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and certification requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Greater Boston
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship training
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
