Responsibilities
- Perform complex electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure code compliance.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential safety hazards or electrical faults.
- Install, connect, and test electrical systems, circuits, and fixtures using industry-standard tools.
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed and parts inventory used during night operations.
- Ensure all work is completed in strict adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local California regulations.
- Collaborate with day shift supervisors to ensure a seamless handover of maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license required (California State License).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a night shift environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on preventative maintenance.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Skills
Journeyman License, Troubleshooting, NEC Compliance, Commercial Wiring, Power Tools, Blueprint Reading, Night Shift Availability.
