Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Perform basic pipe fitting, fixture assembly, and drain cleaning tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Load/unload trucks and organize tools/materials efficiently
- Document work orders and complete daily progress reports
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
- Respond to emergency service calls after initial training period
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain required DC plumbing certifications
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout DC/MD/VA
