Responsibilities
- Assist master plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Perform basic pipefitting, drain cleaning, and fixture repairs under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Read blueprints and technical schematics during training
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and skill assessments
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential service calls
- Learn and apply plumbing codes and regulations specific to Massachusetts
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required – we train from scratch!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in tight spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to complete 4-year apprenticeship program
- Drug-free workplace – pre-employment screening required
- Must pass basic math and mechanical aptitude assessment
