Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with pipe installations, repairs, and fixture replacements
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and inspection methods
- Perform preventative maintenance on water heaters, drains, and sewer lines
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to safety protocols
- Document work orders and inventory usage using digital systems
- Participate in weekend emergency call rotations (rotational basis)
- Complete weekly skills training modules under mentorship
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
- Commitment to flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
