Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
- Identify and locate leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues using diagnostic tools.
- Perform pipe cutting, threading, and soldering to assemble piping systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local city and state plumbing codes.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding job progress and pricing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in tight, confined spaces.
- Basic understanding of mathematics for measuring and calculations.
- Strong willingness to learn and obtain required state licensure.
- Reliable work history and a strong work ethic.
