Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with pipefitting, fixture installation, and drain cleaning
- Learn to interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics
- Perform diagnostic testing on water heaters, boilers, and sewage systems
- Maintain clean and safe job sites per OSHA standards
- Participate in hands-on apprenticeship training programs
- Develop expertise in plumbing codes and compliance regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Willingness to travel between job sites (Chicago/FL)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to completing 6-month apprenticeship program
